This is not really SharePoint related but Microsoft yesterday announced a couple of nice OneNote developments. One of them is Office Lens, a Windows Phone application for scanning documents like receipts etc and whiteboards. I just tested this thing today and this might just be my new favorite app 🙂
It has a whiteboard mode that detects the whiteboard and straighten it for you if you are standing a bit to the side when taking the picture. It also increases the contrast and remove glare to make the whiteboard more readable on the picture. Nice 🙂
The picture is saved on your phone and are automatically synced to OneNote
When taking pictures of receipts etc. it will also straighten and crop the picture and make it more readable.
