How to pin an agent for all users

So, someone has created the ultimate agent and you as the administrator want to make sure that everyone can easily find the agent. You can do that by pinning the agent so that it shows up in the agent list in the M365 Copilot client. You can pin agents from the Agent 365 section of the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

How To Pin

You must have the AI Administrator or Global Administrator role to pin agents. Open the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Navigate to the agent list in Agent 365 and click on the agent you would like to pin.

Click on the agent you would like to pin. On the agent details screen, click the “Pin for users” link.

The agent must be deployed to be able to pin it. If it’s not deployed a message will be displayed and you can deploy the agent from the message.

On the next screen you can choose to pin for every user the agent is deployed to, or you can choose specific users or groups.

The next screen will show pinned agents. Here you will see agents pinned by Microsoft, like the Researcher and Analyst agents.

And you will see agents pinned by your organization, like “Jarvis 2” that we just pinned.

The user can see up to three admin pinned agents in M365 Copilot, you can change the priority by moving agents up and down in the Pinned Agents list.

What the user sees

In Microsoft 365 Copilot the user will see your agent below the Microsoft pinned agents.

The users can’t uninstall an admin installed agent. Clicking unpin in Microsoft 365 Copilot will unpin the agent for the user, but a refresh of the window will just bring it back. In Teams you cannot unpin the agent.

Conclusion
